Bylaw Enforcement

The staff in Bylaw Enforcement respond to complaints and do pro-active monitoring relating to violations and compliance with Town Bylaws including business licensing, littering, dumping, weed control, nuisances or unsightly property, parking, animal control, and more.  Our Bylaw Enforcement Officer is also the Animal Control Officer for the Town of Redcliff.  Staff also work closely with the RCMP and Alberta Fish and Wildlife in dealing with other enforcement issues.

Complaints may be filed by calling 403-548-9246 (office) or 403-581-8755 (cell) or by email at bylaw@redcliff.ca.  Please include your name, address, and telephone number.  Complaints without this information may not be investigated.  Your information will be kept confidential.

After hours or on weekends the number available to receive complaints of an emergency nature is 403-581-8755.

Development and Land Use Bylaw complaints are not handled by the Bylaw Enforcement Officer.  Those can be directed to the Development Officer at 403-548-9257.
